I remember my grandmother giving gifts to everyone in the family and we were sooooo excited! My father would be excited too, but it never failed, my Grandmother was so frazzled with getting gfits for all of us that she got my Dad, "Socks in the Box." I remember how ungrateful he was and how he gave my grandmother a fake smile indicating his disdain for the socks. I always felt pressure to give good gifts after seeing that to everybody. I have actually run to my BILL MONEY to get "good gifts" for the people that I call friends and family during the holidays.
Then the Ultimate Stress-Free Holiday Tip came to my mind. "Why don't you make ONE wonderful gift for everyone?"
All of the sudden it was like Jingle Bells was playing in my head. I love cooking and so many people are always asking me about my #SimplyHealthy Meatless Lasagna and Veggie Spaghetti! I decided to make my favorite (frankly famous) home made red sauce and give it out as gifts.
Why I Decided to Create a Universal Gift for All of the Important People in my Life
1. Home made red sauce would be a gift that I would have a good time making.
2. It would be a gift that everybody could use over the holidays.
4. It is also heart healthy and you can eat it over pasta or meat for a healthy living paleo way to stay fly over the holidays!
3. I was already at Sam's Club and could one stop shop for my gift, the trapping to wrap the sauce and even compile a wine list of wines available at Sam's Club!
A Healthy Mind is Healthy Living
This was a win-win for me because I would be able to knock out my holiday gifts nice and early! And give a gift that I would be proud of!
While you may not be a super chef, or even on a budget you may want to give a universal gift. Such as Wine, a Gift Basket or any other item that you can find multiples of at Sam's Club. Letting go of the stress of the holiday's make them more enjoyable so that you can spread love to your friends and family and just have an awesome good time!
What do you do to keep your holiday Stress-Free?
