It was an exciting weekend as we celebrated a ClassyBlackGirl.com Beauty Party! Sally Hansen requested that we go to Walgreens and grab our favorite colors and create our very own #iHeartMyNailArt color blocking looks!
Most of us had only ever tried color blocking with our clothes but trying that design trend on our nails was something new! We were excited that Sally Hansen had so many beautiful colors for us to choose from! Their Springtime neon colors popped on our Carmel and cocoa skin!
I really appreciated that the products while being of awesome quality were also not over-priced. We used the Balance Rewards card so that we could make points and get benefits and discounts when we go back to Walgreens! We were able to get lots of products so that we could try lots of different colors and types of Sally Hansen products, such as the Gel Nail Products, which I was really excited about!
ClassyBlackGirl's Sister, SassyBlackGirl-thought that the Sally Hansen nail products would be cute served up to the ladies who partied with us in martini glasses.

I also really liked the "wide-ness" of the nail brushes. It covered a lot of nail real estate, quickly!
Here is my Tri-Color Block Look! ...or Create Your Own May Splatter Party!
We had delicious sweet treats and the most amazing girl talk while we worked on our nails! We made homemade red velvet, white chocolate mouse and chocolate cupcakes!
Here is the recipe for the "Man Trap Frosting!" that we used for our Man Trap White Chocolate Mousse Cupcakes!
Man Trap Creamy Frosting Recipe! 8 oz of Premium Quality Cream Cheese 2 teaspoons of Pure Vanilla Extract 2 Cups of Heavy Cream 1/2 Cup of Sugar Let the Cream Cheese Get Soft and Mix By Hand **you can use this on ANY cupcake or cake!!...Its also tasty on Yams when making Sweet Potatoes if you are trying to get that Man Trap Effect!! ---- Those of us who were working on our waistlines consumed the strawberries instead!
I was inspired by hearts and created looks with hearts. I loved using the Pens. I like designs on nails, but creating them with a brush has never been easy! The pens made it so easy and fun!
My favorite color was a beautiful bright yellow color called Butter-fly! It was Sally Hansen Insta-Dri #10! In a super close second were two other Sally Hansen Insta-Dri products, a playful lilac called Grape Race #70 and a neon green Lickety-Split Lime #450!
