Cannot Wait to See the London Eye
There are three Days until I get on the plane to make this exciting trip to London. I am completely excited and I am just imagining that my eyes will be bigger than the time frame that I have in London! But one of the most important "things to do" on my list are to jump on one of those capsules to get on the London Eye.
Let me give you the rundown on The London Eye!
The London Eye is a huge Ferris wheel that sits on the banks of the River Thames and is about 443 feet high. There are 32 Pods(or capsules) on the London Eye and it takes about 30 minutes for one complete rotation.
I am partial to the London Eye because it was born on March 9, 2000. March 9th is my birthday! It took about two years to build! The London Eye moves really slowly and allows for great absorption of the entire London Scenery. It moves at about .06 miles per hour and never needs to stop for its passengers to get off and on.
I am imagining myself at the top of The London Eye and just looking all around London and taking in its beauty. Being able to look down on The River Thames and just having an introspective moment reflecting on life and the blessings and opportunities that I have been given.
If you have ever been to London and have been on the London Eye let me know what you are thinking, tell me what I should be on the lookout for and what I should NOT MISS no matter what! Looking to hear from you world travelers!
