To me they honestly all reflected their beautiful personalities.
Let's Just Be Honest, Kenya Moore Was Throwing Shade
Let's be completely transparent, it was complete shade that Kenya Moore
suggested required that Porsha Stewart come to her Hollywood Starlet's party as Halle Berry in BAP's (Bish Please) when everybody else was able to be an ultra glam chic. So when Porsha could not find a costume that suited her, and she DID try and rock a costume that would have fit the suggestion, she came as Halle Berry from the Film Dorothy Dandridge, and if I do say so myself, she was breathtakingly beautiful!
I think that Kenya Moore has been called a lot of things and some hurt her, others make her mad but the most cutting to her is the one that cuts her age. Kenya was willing to stop enjoying her own fabulous, well attended party to kick Porsha OUT of the soiree. Who does that? This was truly In Poor Taste. Kenya's heat was because Porsha was young and absolutely beautiful, if Porsha had come as "Viv" from Jungle Fever and looked like a crackhead, there would have been no issue for Miss Moore. Porsha's beauty made Kenya furious. And frankly, its ridiculous. Kenya is gorgeous in her own beautiful, fit and silky cocoa brown skin.
Why do women become insecure and unsure of themselves and #ClutchThePearls envious of young girls when they get to a certain age? I would only want to be 26 again if I could be as smart as I am TODAY!...otherwise I would make the same decisions. And I love every moment I'm in now!
Older women should see younger women as somebody to mentor not compete with. If you are Kenya Moore competing with the likes of Porsha Stewart, you have already lost. Kenya is adult, fully grown and in her own words, "Gone with the Wind Fabulous."
I remember being a younger woman in "the club" and I would see "older women" in the club, not playing up their strengths, but instead trying to compete with me. Honey I am 26, your 46, we ain't working with the same ball of wax. But Miss 46 you should be more confident, classy and you should not be in the same club, lounge or pub as ANY 26 year old. Plus you should have better game, skills and stiletto's than I do!
At 35, please start embodying your Classy, BlackGirl-ness and remember that envy, besides be one of the seven deadly sins, is also one of the Killers of Class!
What Do YOU THINK is a KILLER of CLASS?
