I have always been a girlie girl, I love to cook, I love to decorate my home and I always loved to watch the Martha Stewart show! Martha was always so cool, calm and collected and she had the perfect answer for everything! This past weekend I was provided with an amazing opportunity to basically see the Martha Stewart Show live as she shared with a very intimate audience how to make her 3 favorite party drinks!
Check out my journey with Martha Stewart one of Macy's #AmericanIcons
The table that was the stage was amazing and made most of us think about what we were going to prepare and decorate for the summer season celebrating America!
These fresh blueberries were positively decadent and reminded me of how many of Martha's recipes are made with fresh and natural ingredients! Blueberries are heart healthy and gorgeous on your holiday table!
Martha Stewart makes beautiful and tasty food!...She knows how to set a table!
These little wrapped beef hot dogs not only tasted amazing they were also cute as a button! These need to be on my Fourth of July table!
Martha was taking questions from the audience and shared that she would love to have President Obama at her last dinner, if she was given the opportunity.
The crowd was enjoying passed treats made with Martha's recipes!
Martha shared part of her collection with us! She said that these were the BEST ice cube trays to make delicious pomegranate ice cubes!
This was a delicious, sweet, alcoholic beverage (made with Martha's own hands) and the rim was sugary and salty! One word, YUM!
My Sister, Shamisha Johnson and blogger at SassySissyKnowsItAll.com was totally excited to meet Martha and taste one of her tasty drinks!
My Sister Ilea was one of the luck few people to taste one of the actual drinks that Martha prepared while she was doing a demo! She loved the drink and decided to grab a book and make that drink at home!
People were lined up all throughout the 6th floor for a few seconds and to get their book signed by Martha Stewart!...self included! She was so friendly and kind!!...She even signed my book to Classy, Black Girl!
Outside of Martha's awesome recipes, Martha Stewart also has a FAB collection that is pure class and livable. I would love to be curled up in these adorable blankets making my home feel beautiful and upscale! Martha Stewart positively inspired my inner domestic goddess!
