Quaker Oatmeal Kills Those Dry Skin Blues
I have naturally dry skin and dryness is the enemy of youthful skin. I am constantly looking for ways to slough off the dry skin, but I have always found that just about every scrub or exfoliator that I have purchased always has alcohol in it which just dries my skin all over again, so I just make my own scrubs. This Quaker Oatmeal skin scrub is one of my favorites and it is soooo moisture infusing. The day after I use it I cannot stop touching my face.
I imagine that Queen Esther would have used Steel Cut Oats, Brown Sugar and Fresh Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil and had it mixed it together in some amazing ceramic royal jar. Your Modern Day Esther (me) puts hers in a mason jar so that I can keep it in the bathroom. Make sure that you tighten the jar before you get out of the shower. Once the ingredients are mixed I prefer to use them as soon as possible.
I also love the way that this scrub tastes so I DO eat a spoonful myself. If you cannot put it in your mouth you might want to be mindful if you really want to put it on your face.
