Blogalicious 2012 was amazing!...and Eucerin was a major part of that excitement and education.
Eucerin sponsored an amazing #SkinFirst breakfast with a special guest speaker, the esteemed Dr. Rosemarie Ingleton. She is a member of the 2012 Eucerin Skin First Board and is the Queen of Giving Good Skin!...and giving great skin information!!...especially for women of color!
Dr. Ingleton stressed the importance of SPF, a good moisturizer and a good "protectant" especially during the winter months when our skin is most susceptible to dryness ans cracks.
One Twitter Post...
When posed with the statement, "Black Don't Crack" Dr. Ingleton responded noting that Black does crack, just a little bit later. There were ohhh's and ahh's all over the room and women were taking notes like crazy. There is nothing that we want more than to make sure that we are still looking silky skinned and youthful-even as we age.
By the time that Dr. Ingleton was done with the audience at Blogalicious we all knew how to keep our skin healthy, clean and beautiful! We even discussed skin issues such as ingrown hairs, streach marks and keiloids. And one blogger even asked how to make sure that while protecting your skin still gets vitamin D. Dr. Ingleton quickly stated that good food and vitamins were sufficient and that Vitamin D deficiency is an issue, but skin cancer is a much larger one!
Bloggers all over the nation crowded around Dr. Ingleton eager to ask her questions as we sailed into the next sessions.
"Im going to see her as soon as Blogalicious is over!" Digital Publicist, Lindsey C. Holmes, said excitedly!
