I have been doing all of the right things (translation doctor recommended) lately and I feel amazing! At first I was working towards achieving some beauty goal, but then it became more about my health than a body size or even how I look in a pair of short-shorts! Taking care of my health has really been about beauty from the inside out.
These 5 Tips keep me at my beauty (and health) 100:
1. Drink more water. I know that it sounds really simple, but most of us are simply not drinking enough water. While we all know that we should be drinking 8 ounces of water 8 times per day (this is 1.9 liters), really it falls a bit short of the 2.2 liters that women should have which is about 9 cups. If you exercise or have health conditions this might alter your need for more or less water as well.
2. Make sure that you get adequate sleep. Most people need at least 7-8 hours of sleep to function properly. When you don't get enough rest, you cannot focus and you will not have enough energy to be as active as you need to be to get stuff done! After all that is why it's called beauty sleep!
3. Exercise daily. Every day we all need 30 minutes to exercise, it helps us to blow off anxiety and keeps our hearts pumping and working effectively.
4. Eat healthy. I am big on dark fruits and veggies to maintain my energy and help me get the vitamins that I need daily! Frozen Blueberries are my go to snack when I am writing! You can never eat too many of these!
5. Take a good probiotic.
I know that probiotics can seem a bit confusing from which one you should take to understanding probiotics benefits!
