CK Mondavi is the Perfect Fourth of July Wine! #CKMondaviHeroes

It is time for the Fourth of July and the season to celebrate what a great country we live in and how many people have given so much so that we can enjoy beautiful summer days without the stresses that people in other countries may worry about.

I love CK Mondavi for a myriad of reasons, first of all, because Peter Mondavi Sr. is a WWII Veteran I feel like I am giving back (when I drink his families wines), especially since a percentage of every bottle goes to supporting veterans!  And...CK Mondavi is the ONLY wine in this price point that is 100% American!  Supporting what is American matters to me!

I am always trying to focus on more healthy ways to enjoy life and I decided to marry one of my cookout favorites with one of my wine favorites!  A Chardonnay Turkey Burger!  Robert Mondavi's Chardonnay is well-known for its buttery flavor and all-American taste!  I enjoy it most when having a turkey burger!

Another neat Mondavi fact is that Marc Mondavi was born on the 4th of July and 2014 marks his 60th birthday!  So let's be classy and toast to Marc Mondavi!

My Mondavi Chardonnay Turkey Burger!

Cooking Instructions:

To get that amazing dipping au jus that makes this burger perfect add the 1/2 cup of CK Mondavi Chardonnay to the seasoned burger when sauteing it and pour the gravy from the meat into a dipping dish (like my little heart dish) and enjoy!  It makes the burger even more juicy!  My family said that the CK Mondavi Chardonnay made this the best burger that they had ever had!

When prepping for a party don't forget to chill the Chardonnay about 45 minutes before your friends come over!

While we are waving our patriotic American flags this summer and enjoying all of the beautiful Red, White and Blue, please remember that a percentage of every bottle of CK Mondavi sold between May and August is donated to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes organization.  This is the organization that supports the men and women (and their families) of the Armed Forces when U.S. military personnel are wounded or killed in service to our nation.

Have a blessed summertime and always remember our troops!
