Beyoncé's takes a moment of Silence for Trayvon Martin The legendary Beyonce, has been touring the world. But last night while we all waited with baited breath for the Zimmerman Verdict, she waited too. She was performing at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, tennessee. And Mrs. Carter called for a moment of silence. Beyonce has never been the most politically outspoken of celebrities but the murder of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed 17 year old in Sanford, Florida, has affected just about every person in America. I am so proud of her and every other influencer who opens their mouth about Trayvon Martin's murder.
