I love the anticipation of a new movie, seeing my favorite actor or actress on the silver screen and of course that delicious buttery popcorn smell! There is very little that can ruin that moment when the curtains open and the loud music begins, well almost nothing.
When a fellow movie-goer decides not to be kind and lets their phone ring during the movie, or worse texts and Tweets through the movie so that you constantly have that bright light glaring to the left of you. This can take away from Saturday Night at the Movies!
So Here are My Top 10 No-No’s For The Theatre: 1. Arrive on-time, previews are great and if you are late you affect other peoples view, vision and sound of the film. 2. Do not talk during the film, if you and your friend are talkers, make sure that you sit away from a crowd so that you guys can only disturb each other. 3. Do not use your telephone in ANY way during a film. No talk, text or Tweet-please. 4. If you cannot “hold it” make sure that you are sitting in an aisle seat so that you do not have to climb over anybody else. 5. Do not bring young children, crying babies can ruin THE WHOLE DAMN movie!!...and you should KNOW that! 6. Do not wear a hat or any other object on your head that would impede other peoples view of the screen who may be sitting behind you. 7. Do not wear a lot of perfume, even if it is date night. And in the reverse, please bathe, you may be close to somebody! 8. No PDA in the movie theatre. 9. Do not put your feet on the seat in front of you unless there is nobody sitting in that seat. 10. And if you are in a sparse movie theatre as opposed to a crowded one and there are tons of seats….give the other people space of at least 2 seats in between, it is the courteous thing to do.
Enjoy Your Movies!!
